Seema Hosfeld: Yes, simply plug it into one of the other hdmi ports on your tv and then switch the tv source/input to that hdmi port. None of my tv's will switch to a port that does not have a video signal on it so make sure you have the dvd player on first..
Darren Heling: You don't need to "bypass" anything. Just use on of the other inputs on the TV for the DVD player.
