Derrick Kloke: I wouldn't use it on a regular basis. It will weaken the fabrics and change the colors if you use it on colored items. The only time I use bleach is when I have stained or yellowed white clothes. Follow the directions on the label on the bottle and rinse well. Some people with sensitive skin cannot tolerate bleach at all so be careful. And never use it on anything but white items.

Kristina Brockwell: as far as chlorine bleach use i am a firm believer in the cleaning and disinfecting properties of bleach. the way i usually use bleach in my laundry is the fill the washer first with water and then add the bleach, afterwards the clothes. if you fear the bleach is to strong on your clothing after one rinse do a second rinse cycle. when using chlorine and you cannot use a second rinse cycle use less and no i don't believe you can catch disease from shared machines especially when using bleach....Show more

Arrosez les graines. Si vous décidez de planter les graines dans un pot avant le gel, vous devrez prendre soin des graines. Une fois que vous les avez plantés dans un pot de taille moyenne avec de la terre de plantation, arrosez régulièrement les graines jusqu’au dernier gel. Arrosez les graines jusqu’à ce que le sol soit humide chaque fois que le sol semble sec.

Creusez de petits trous. Faire les trous d’environ 1/4 pouce (0,6 cm) de profondeur. Le nombre de trous que vous creusez dépend de la quantité de graines que vous devez planter. Les trous doivent être espacés d’environ 12 pouc! es (30,5 cm). Si vous plantez plus d’une rangée, les rangées doivent être espacées de 2 à 3 pieds (0,61 à 0,91 m).

Tester le sol en le palpant avec la main ou en le creusant doucement avec les doigts. N’arrosez que lorsque le sol est sec, car le jicama ne convient pas à l’arrosage excessif.

Creuser les tubercules du sous-sol. Déterrer les tubercules du sol à l’aide d’une truelle. Attendez la fin de l’automne, mais avant le premier gel pour creuser vos tubercules. Ce délai est d’environ 150 jours à compter de ! la plantation. Déterrer les tubercules plus tôt si la vigne montre des signes de mort. Veiller à ne pas blesser les tubercules pendant l’ablation. Prenez votre temps.

Tremper les graines. Mettez les graines de jicama dans de l’eau tiède pour accélérer la germination. Déposer les graines dans une casserole peu profonde d’eau tiède. Laissez-les s’asseoir pendant 24 heures. Ensuite, retirez les graines de l’eau.

Ne vous inquiétez pas trop des parasites. Jicama n’est pas susceptible d’avoir des problèmes de ravageurs pendant la croissance. C’est parce que les fleurs, les graines et les feuilles sont toxiques. Si vous constatez que vous avez un problème de parasites, enlevez les parasites vous-même ou utilisez un pulvérisateur biologique contre les parasites.

Choisissez un bon emplacement. Recherchez un endroit dans votre jardin qui reçoit au moins 6 à 8 heures de soleil par jour. Idéalement, rangez-les dans un endroit à une température de 53 à 60 degrés Celsius (11 à 15 degrés Celsius). Il peut s’agir d’un garage ou d’un sous-sol chauffé. L’endroit que vous choisissez doit être sec. Il ne doit pas être mouillé ou humide. Le jicama doit être frais et prêt à être consommé pendant deux mois s’il est bien conservé.

Obtenez des graines de jicama. À moins que vous n’ayez déjà des semences, vous devrez les obtenir.
