What are some good particular books about repairing problems that involve plumbing, carpeting, leaks, etc...?

Reyes Brunell: Hello,I am also in the same boat as you, I just purchased my first home this year (Feb). Luckily for me my dad is a carpenter, but nobody knows everything. Lately if I ever have a problem I turn to YouTube. There are many professional's that create videos on How To's, and guides to owning house. For instances I recently had to install studs above my fireplace to hang a TV. I didn't install the studs, but I had to patch the 3 by 3 whole in the wall. So after watching a few youtube videos I was able to slowly repair the wall and I personally think it looks great. Mel Crapo: I have no books that come to mind, but your local library is crammed full of construction/renovation books, YouTube is extremely helpful too as you get to actually see the process of how something is done.

Visitez la plage. Ramassez les coquillages, le sable, etc. et gardez-les dans des contenants ou dans un vivier vide dans votre chambre ! Pour un pas de plus, peut-être prendre un aquarium et le remplir avec votre poisson préféré ! (Note : ne mettez pas le poisson dans le sable que vous avez pris sur la plage, cela peut tuer le poisson)

Choisissez votre palette de couleurs. Pour un thème sous-marin, vous devriez regarder dans les verts, les bleus, les beiges, les crèmes, les roses pâles, les jaunes, etc ;. Pensez à toutes les couleurs communément trouvées dans le corail ou l’oc! éan !

Rappelez-vous que les oreillers sont vos amis ! Plus il y a d’oreillers, mieux c’est ! différentes textures, tailles, couleurs, formes…. Faites en sorte que votre chambre soit confortable pour vous.

N’ayez pas peur de peindre votre plafond. Avoir un plafond blanc peut détruire n’importe quelle pièce thématique. Un beige clair ou crème, que l’on retrouve dans les taies d’oreiller ou dans un tapis de sol, peut vraiment rassembler la pièce.

Trouvez une belle couette moelleuse. Un doudou multicolore bleu/beige peut vraiment faire le lien entre cette pièce.

Textures. Rien n’ajoutera une touche sous-marine à une pièce plus que les textures. Envisagez un traitement à l’éponge sur vos murs, ou embauchez un étudiant pour peindre quelque chose sur un mur !

Can I build (and plant vegetables in) a raised garden bed near the well for my house?

Inge Mclaurine: Yes, absolutely. I plant my garden in raised beds near my well and it is so convenient for watering too. good luck and enjoy your bounty. My well is 43 feet deep.

Kalyn Proietto: No problem. If you check, you will probably find the well is drilled at least 100 feet deep. Only the parts above ground will be affected by the distance from them for doing maintenance or repair.

Fritz Sisomphou: That might cause some problems with the side of your house. You may need to treat the side of the house that will be coming in contact with the new soil. Maybe some kind of cement or a hard plastic paneling. You definitely want to make sure there is adequate drainage in that bed too. You don't want water sitting up against the side of your house, so be very careful to keep the water draining away from the base of your house. Good luck!

Lenard Ginyard: Sorry, but you are all wrong so far. They are indeed just common earthworms. Same kind you dig up in the garden. But as said mulch and they will come.

Tamatha Neubaum: Prior answerer is right, they are not the same. Where do you get them? From friends who have really good soil, and they can give you a couple-dozen in exchange for a few beers.

Kris Bozelle: NO Earthworms are "natural soil tillers"...in other words they till the soil, keeping it loose and moist, they also release a bacteria from their waste that is beneficial to gardens.

Maryland Gareau: Cactus plants actually prefer a rich soil if it is free-draining. Packaged, commercial cactus potting soils (your local garden center should carry these)may be used or you can make your own by combining equal volumes of peat-based potting soil and very coarse sand or grit.
