Do you really need a High School education?

Jeremy Donohue: Theoretically, no, you don't necessarily need a high school diploma to go about your life.In reality, though, it is nearly impossible. You may have $1,000,000 now, but if you spend it on your shop/business, what's going to be left over for other things like a house, car, insurance, mortgages, and taxes up until you finish up your business planning. And, if for any reason, that shop/business doesn't go over so well, you woul dhave wasted all of that money and you wouldn't have much to fall back on to get another job without that high school diploma. And even though you do work well with computers, not many people would be willing to hire people without graduating from high school even with all of the know-how that you mentioned (having a good resume and education is everything nowadays). Wally Perrien: Of course you can go on in life without a diplo! ma, Just look at Steve jobs.. I think bill gates even dropped out, And besides a G.E.D is no better or worse than a diploma.. Don't drop out but if you do get your G.E.D

Aldo Decurtis: Yes, you do need a High School education, people like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs dropped out of COLLEGE. Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard Business School and started working on building a PC. Steve Jobs dropped out of college because he didn't have enough money to continue studying at college. Only 1 in a billion people can become like Bill Gates or Steve Jobs. They graduated High School and trust me, you're not going to find a job without at least a high school diploma. I don't see why you wouldn't want to continue your high school education. If you have a bit over $1,000,000, what's gonna happen when you lose all that money? You wouldn't be able to work anywhere because you don't have a high school or college diploma....Show more
