Joaquin Dronko: ATI Catalyst Control Program installed on your computer? If not, download it from ATI/AMD. Configure it with this program installed and registered on your computer. Windows 7 does have issues. I have reinstalled it after only 4 months up time, on one computer. Windows is working on the issues. Internet Explorer 8 is a issue. I found this out by using Google Chrome as a trial for a time. The issues disappeared. These are on "retail versions" of Windows 7. Have a purchased unit also with "OEM" Win 7 on it with no issues. It is ma! intained by the computer manufacture. Safe mode did no good in my situation, because the total package of the computer was not running. It only justified that basic Windows is there. The package of programs for TV interface was not correct as I found in a tucked away file.... I do not have TV hooked up to the computer. Nor have this program started. ??? This was the latest problem and created the "blue screening".In the start menu under" All Programs" to "Accessories" is Command prompt, rt click it, choose "Run as Administrator. Type in sfc /scannow. Wait for the results. It will fix or retrieve any bad or missing files. Visit (link below) Microsoft support with the "error id" # from "Event viewer" in your computer, to find possible causes. Your not alone.Hope it helps...Show more
Sharron Salin: What does the error say?
Azzie Trembly: This is difficult to do without having an error code.Try running in safe mode for a while, do you still have issues? If not, it ! may be a driver problem. When I'm having problems with my compu! ter, I keep a digital camera close by in case I need to capture a bluescreen. In Windows 7, my problem was memory related and found that whenever I had more than 4GB of RAM in my system it would blue screen and eventually that memory would fail to test out with memtest 86.You will probably want to test your memory out just to be sure, check the link.If you could follow up with the stop codes, it might be give us a direction to go in....Show more
