what makes chicago style pizza at the speedway different than other pizza?

Clement Viscarro: OK....I'm confused....I'm a Jersey transplant living in Chicago and while Chicago claims to have created the deep-dish pizza, I thought "Chicago style" was the cracker thin crust that they cut into squares instead of slices....even though the pizza is round.
