Reginald Maxi: I'm not Native American, I'm black, but I think I can shed light on this topic. If Native Americans are anything like us there is a stigma attached to being to dark. I know because I used to be very dark from hanging out in the sun a lot. As a result, I was very bitter toward light-skinned blacks because I was always told that I was "black and ugly" but light-skinned people are always "beautiful" or "handsome." In countries like Haiti or the Dominican Republic, girls are constantly bleaching their skin and straightening their hair. The white world has made dark skin a negative trait.

Leora Klingelhoets: I think we look great dark or light, if you date a white guy you will love your light skin tone with no issues because white men don't have skin issues. Black women who hate light skinned women are silly because they hate because they know black men love light. If they date white they will calm down. Its sad though.
